Recent figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) show a sharp increase in bankruptcies by 2023. 3,271 companies went belly up, more than half that of the previous year. This increase reflects the challenging economic conditions following the global corona crisis, with companies facing rising debtor balances due to deferred payments, resulting in increasing uncertainty.
